Top Vacation Spots For
Adventure
Everyone has been to normal Vacation Spots like the beach or an amusement park. While these things are great, you're thinking they aren't exactly living on the edge.
To really get some excitement, you have to take your vacations to the next level. What are some things that you should try out before you die?
Let’s look at the Top Ten Vacation Spots:
1. Parachuting- This is an oldie but a goodie. You can’t really get more of an adrenaline rush than jumping out of a plane several thousand feet above the ground. While it is very scary, just imagine flying through the air. It’s a pretty cool thought to say the least.
2. Helicopter tour- This one is a tad bit tamer than the parachuting idea, but pretty close. You can get some amazing views of some of the world from a chopper. Try checking out the Grand Canyon from a helicopter. You will see a new side of the already breathtaking natural wonder.
3. Bungee jumping- This one could be a little dangerous..."yes"... considering your betting your life on the guy that made the bungee chord. If you’ve ever wanted to see what it was like to jump off of a building without the aftermath, this is for you.
4. Cave scuba diving- If you’re claustrophobic, this exercise will cure you. You will get a unique perspective of what those white little cave fish see. Plus, taking the classes will be amazingly fun. Do it for your Honeymoon Vacation!
5. Rock climbing- This one can be quite invigorating. You know you always wanted to be like Tom Cruise at the beginning of Mission Impossible. If you’ve never done it before, you might want to actually try doing it with a rope and some equipment. Other than that, it’s really great.
6. Para sailing- What could be better than flying through the air behind a boat above the water? Nothing…that’s what. But seriously, it is really a great time for everyone as long as you’re OK with heights.
7. Snowboarding- This one isn’t quite as extreme as some of the other one’s but you should definitely check it out at some point. If for no other reason than getting to use the word “stoked”. And remember the Hot Tubb'in in the evening...
8. Survival camp- There is a number of different places where you can test your skills in the wild. You probably want to try it out with some supervision at first. Nature can be a little unforgiving if you don’t know what you’re doing.
If you can do it, there is nothing quite so fulfilling as surviving in the wild with only your wits. This is a super fun family vacation spot...especially when you surprise everyone with marshmallows and chips!
9. Hiking the Grand Canyon- Speaking of the Grand Canyon, try hiking down into and back out of it. Could be one of the most difficult things you’ve ever done, but it’s so worth it.
10. Climb a snow covered mountain- This one will probably take some practice and some heavy-duty equipment. However, when you pull it off, it will be something that you’ll remember for the rest of your days.
All of these ideas will create a substantial amount of memories that will last forever. They would make great stories while sitting around the campfire as well. Even if you don’t try any of these ideas, do something to break away from the norm. Stop taking life so seriously…you’ll never make it out alive.
